Material and Craftsmanship Details
Using biomedical-grade low-density/high-density polyethylene (LDPE/HDPE) composite material, formed in one piece through three-layer co-extrusion technology. Inner layer is modified LDPE, with added chemical corrosion resistant agent, having excellent resistance to acids, bases, and organic solvents; middle layer is high-barrier HDPE, with tight molecular arrangement, effectively preventing liquid and microbial penetration; outer layer is high-strength HDPE, processed through molecular orientation, providing excellent mechanical strength. Bag body thickness uniformly controlled at 0.09±0.005mm, no micropores or weak points detected through electron microscope. Biohazard identification using thermosetting special ink printing, can withstand high-temperature high-pressure sterilization without falling off. Bag body seams using ultrasonic seamless welding technology, seam strength comparable to parent material. Overall material passing ASTM D1709 impact test, ASTM D1922 tear test, ASTM F1929 liquid leakage test, and obtaining BSL-2 biosafety certification.
Maintenance Guide
Storage Environment: Store in cool, dry place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures, temperature controlled at 0-30°C, humidity not exceeding 70%
Shelf Life: Under normal storage conditions, shelf life is 3 years, recommend using within validity period
Usage Temperature: Applicable temperature range -20°C to 120°C, able to withstand high-temperature sterilization treatment for short periods
Batch Management: Recommend laboratories manage inventory by batch, record batch numbers and usage situations, facilitating tracking
Emergency Plan: Laboratories should prepare sufficient emergency inventory, recommend maintaining at least 2 weeks usage amount
Application Scenarios Examples
Medical Research Laboratory: Collecting culture media, testing reagents, discarded samples, and other biomedical wastes, 25MPa ultra-high tensile strength ensuring safe handling of large amounts of waste, each laboratory using 10-15 daily
PCR Laboratory: Safely handling wastes potentially containing amplified DNA/RNA, three-layer composite leak-proof design preventing nucleic acid contaminant spread, ensuring experiment result accuracy, daily usage 8-10 pieces
Virology Laboratory: Collecting wastes containing potential viral materials, biohazard identification clearly warning handlers, leak-proof design ensuring biosafety, each BSL-2 laboratory using 15-20 daily
Clinical Testing Department: Processing wastes after patient sample testing, chemical resistance properties adapting to various reagent residues, high safety protection performance, daily usage 25-30 pieces
University Biology Experiment Teaching Room: Collecting biological materials and chemical waste liquids generated from student experiments, standardized management improving student biosafety awareness, each teaching laboratory using 30-40 weekly
Usage Method Steps
Pre-use Inspection: Confirm waste bag is intact, biohazard identification clearly visible
Correct Installation: Place waste bag over specialized biological waste container, fold bag mouth outward 10-15cm covering container edge
Waste Disposal: Classify and dispose waste according to laboratory waste management procedures, liquid waste should be sealed before disposal
Overflow Control: Control filling amount to 2/3 of bag capacity, reserving sufficient space for safe sealing
Safe Sealing: Carefully remove waste bag, avoiding content splashing, twist bag mouth 2-3 rounds then seal using accompanying closure band
Double Packaging: High-risk biological materials recommended to use double-bag packaging, improving safety factor
Mark Information: Mark laboratory information, waste type, date, and responsible person in designated area on bag body
Standard Transport: Transport to designated waste processing point according to laboratory safety management regulations

Color/Style Display
Standard Yellow: Warning yellow (Pantone 109C) conforming to international biomedical waste standards, equipped with black internationally universal biohazard identification. Yellow, as internationally recognized biohazard warning color, has extremely high recognition in laboratory environments, helping distinguish ordinary waste from biohazardous waste, improving waste classification accuracy. Identification using anti-fading process treatment, remaining clearly recognizable even under high-temperature disinfection or long-term storage conditions.

FAQ

Q: What does 25MPa tensile strength mean?
A: This is an indicator of material's ability to withstand tensile force, 25MPa means each square millimeter can withstand 25 newtons of pulling force, 40% higher than industry standards, ensuring no breakage when carrying heavy objects.
Q: How does the three-layer composite leak-proof design work?
A: Inner layer resists chemical corrosion, middle layer provides high-density barrier, outer layer provides mechanical strength, three layers working together making liquid leakage rate as low as 0.001%, effectively blocking hazardous biological materials.
Q: What does BSL-2 certification mean?
A: Conforming to Biosafety Level-2 laboratory waste handling standards, suitable for handling biological agents of moderate hazard to humans, such as hepatitis B virus, HIV, and other common clinical samples.
Q: What types of laboratory waste can it be used for?
A: Suitable for culture media, testing reagents, discarded samples, contaminated items, disposable consumables, and other biomedical wastes, as well as chemical waste liquids within pH 2-12 range.
Q: How is the acid and alkali resistance performance?
A: Can withstand pH 2-12 chemical environments, covering most acid and base reagents commonly used in laboratories, such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, etc., short-time contact will not cause degradation.
Q: What waste containers is the 60*80cm size suitable for?
A: Specially designed for standard laboratory waste containers, compatible with 95% of market laboratory biological waste bins, including common 30L, 50L specifications.
Q: Does the biohazard identification conform to international standards?
A: Fully conforming to WHO and CDC biosafety identification requirements, using standard yellow background and black biohazard pattern, clearly indicating content hazardousness.
Q: How to handle high-risk biological materials?
A: Recommend using double-bag packaging, sealing inner layer after filling, then placing in outer layer bag, improving safety factor; if necessary, pre-treat with inactivation before packaging.
Q: Can it withstand high-temperature sterilization?
A: Material can withstand 120°C high temperature for short periods, suitable for certain wastes needing high-temperature pre-treatment, but not recommended for high-pressure steam sterilization.
Q: What is the difference compared to ordinary medical waste bags?
A: Higher tensile strength (25MPa), better leak-proof performance (three-layer composite), stronger chemical resistance (pH 2-12), specially designed for laboratory environments, conforming to stricter BSL-2 biosafety standards.
